Guillermo A. Benites is Vice President of Financial Services for United Data Technologies, Inc. (UDT), a leading technology enabler that helps clients in major industries evaluate, architect, secure, and manage technology on the go, in the rack and in the cloud. Guillermo is responsible for the creation and innovation of business solutions for the financial services sector as well as for leading business development for this important vertical.

He leverages more than 25 years of experience in several areas, including banking, regulatory compliance, computer forensic services, IT security and risk management.

Prior to joining UDT, Guillermo enjoyed a distinguished career that included posts such as CEO of Axxis Solutions and COO of Enterprise Risk Management in addition to having served in various executive leadership positions at Caja Mediterráneo, Banco de Crédito del Perú, and Atlantic Security Bank of Miami.

Guillermo obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Florida International University and holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration and Finance from Nova Southeastern University. He is also a board member of the South Florida Banking Institute (SFBI) and the Florida International Bankers Association (FIBA), and served as SFBI President for the 2018–2020 fiscal years.

Mr. Mejia has a 20-year career in banking having held management positions in various risk management and operational functions such as Chief Regulatory Compliance Officer, BSA/AML Officer, Chief Digital Officer and New Product Implementation and Project Management.

George has accumulated over 25 years of experience leading the design, development and implementation of high-performance technology and information security solutions.

As the Director of Managed Solutions, George specializes in processes, procedures, solution building, pricing, budgeting, and presentation of technology solutions, with a focus on customer needs and satisfaction.

George holds certifications including Microsoft Certified System Engineer, Microsoft Certified Administrator, ITIL v2, and Cisco Certified Network Administrator. He received his Bachelor of Science in International Marketing and Business Administration from Florida International University.

Andrew Miller

Lead Principal Technology Strategist

As Lead Principal Technology Strategist, Americas for Pure Storage, Andrew enjoys constantly exploring the intersections between business & technology. His current role involves working with customers and partners as a technical executive liaison to Pure’s Product Management & Engineering teams. He started as a customer for 7 years (storage, virtualization, networking, security) and has endeavored not to sell his technical soul entirely as he moved into the partner landscape for 8 years (implementation, presales technical architecture, presales manager/director) and then into the vendor landscape. 

Most immediately prior to Pure, he started and built out a Technical Marketing/Evangelist team for 2 years at a hyper growth startup in the data protection and security space. Both in current and previous roles, he has presented publicly on ransomware many times across multiple formats (conferences, webinars, lightboards, meetings, trainings, etc.). He also sat on multiple EMC, VCE, and VMware Partner Technical Councils for 4 years along with being a 14x vExpert.

Jamey Heary

Jamey Heary is Chief Security Architect at Cisco Systems, where he leads the Global Security Architecture Team. He serves as a trusted security advisor and architect to many of Cisco’s largest customers, helping organizations address complex cybersecurity challenges and strengthen their overall security posture.

With more than 25 years of experience in IT security, Jamey is the author of three books, including Cisco ISE for BYOD and Secure Unified Access, Second Edition. He also holds two patents related to advanced firewall IP reputation techniques and has been recognized as a leading Network World blogger and a Cisco Live Distinguished Speaker.

Jamey serves on numerous security technology advisory boards within Cisco and previously spent eight years on the PCI Security Standards Council’s Board of Advisors. He is also a founding member of several information security user groups across the United States.
